Meet Camilo Avila

Born and raised in Orange County, Camilo discovered the magic of Salsa during college and fell in love. Dance became his artistic outlet, helping him recover from injuries that paused his music career.

Camilo joined joined multiple Salsa teams, performed at Salsa Festivals nationwide, winning multiple Jack & Jill Competitions. In 2011, Camilo was scouted by a Ballroom Dance Studio where he learned and trained to teach American Standard Ballroom and choreograph Salsa and Bachata Routines for Zumba Fitness Instructors.

 

Camilo creates a safe and judgment-free environment where everyone can discover the joy of dance. He's a featured instructor at Danscene Dance Studio and OC Salsa, offering private lessons in Salsa and Bachata.
